Sorry I have been missing from blog-land for a while. August seems to have come and gone so quickly between family reunions, birthday and beach days. I am now back and in full swing of things again. I will post some pics of the end of summer fun and back to school.
Be right back!

Easton's Beach Rotunda... not just for weddings!
Today we went to Easton's Beach Rotunda. Connor has been wanting to go on bumper cars and our response has been "oh we have to see how old you have to be I think you have to be 8"! Yea I don't know why I chose "8"... all I know is I didn't want him in those contraptions. So, when my friend told me about the Bumper boats at the beach I was so excited. We decided to make a night of it since it was what they call "discount Monday's"!!!
They have a water slide which we thought both would love... well we were half right... Gavin would NOT go down it! Just our luck... of course he chooses the slide that is $3 for all you can ride to be afraid of. He prefers the slides that are like $5 for 1 time down. Connor on the other hand... ALL over this bad boy!!!
The bumper boats were right next to the water slide and that's what Gavin really wanted to do!!!
Gavin even went on the carousel... yes... I said Gavin!!! He's never really liked carousels or so we thought...
Hey! Who's that cool lady with the shades??? Grandma!!! Even Grandma got into the spirit of things... Go Grandma!!!
Then it was off next door to the rotunda and bouncy time!!! They had 4 different bouncies set up. And even tables for the adults to sit and relax.
while the kids did this...
I feel the need to explain the above photo... Connor is in the process of "bopping" his little brother. They figured out that if you pull the top of these down... and then have your brother stand right next to it... you can let it go and it flies up and smacks said brother right in the face! (Notice Gavin cringing in anticiaption... it was ten followed by extreme laughter!) Yes... they took turns "whapping" each other... now that's brotherly love! Connor's turn below...
The snack bar was right outside so we decided to get dinner and eat inside since it was really windy outside...
They even had free ice cream for the kids...
Towards the end they looked like this...
It was one more time on the carousel and homeward bound... with 2 very happy little boys!!!
Successful night! Not a bad way to start the week!
Happy Monday to all!

Fun in the sun...
We had another great beach day today! We met up with the usual crew in our usual spot. The boys, as usual, were "fishies" for the day. Stopping here and there to play in the sand. The adults even got a chance to ride the waves (thank goodness no pics of that... LOL!).
Sheesh! The Paparazzi... again!!!
OK... let's see how this works...
How come this isn't moving?!?!
Ahh... much better...
Daddy Power!
OK... all done... we go home now???
Not a bad way to end the day... yum...
Hope you're all having some fun in the sun... no matter what you're doing!!!
Weather man is calling for rain storms tomorrow... at least we had today!!!

Airport Pick-up please!
We went to pick up Daddy from the airport this morning.
The boys wanted so badly to see a plane! You would think being at an airport, and a small one at that, you would see planes! Nope... we see more planes sitting outside our house then here. They finally finished construction upstairs and we were able to take the boys to a restaurant window to see a few planes taking off . The waitress wasn't all that pleasant or happy about the prospect of my boys dirtying up her windows... add to that, the fact that we were not staying to eat... yea... not such a happy waitress.

Hello Mr. Wagon
Wednesday was a jammed packed play day! We had some friends over to play, so we were outside swimming from 10:30am until about 3pm... with break a here and there for some snacks!
We did get them inside to eat lunch... well at least we got them inside... they ate some, played some and then it was back outside! After our friends left the boys fell asleep for about a half hour... they needed it! After their batteries were recharged... back outside!!! To play with Iain... their best bud from "the hood"!
They rode bikes, ran around playing pirates, played with their cars and even dined El Fresco together. Then, after dinner, they pulled out the wagon and took turns pulling each other. Since they all have big boy bikes, the wagons really haven't seen much action this summer. Me and Sara were thinking these would be fun to use to pull them through the snow in! Hmmm... putting that one in my "mental vault"... let's just hope I can remember the combination when the snow begins to fall.
Gavin was having a little trouble pulling at first...
But once he got a full head of steam.... and picked up a little momentum... he was trucking along just perfectly!
Happy Wednesday!
