Memorial day weekend...

Yesterday didn't look too promising up here. It was raining in the morning and as we were watching the weather channel the news anchor happened to be reporting from none other than Ocean City, NJ were it was absolutley beautiful out! We were bummed.

So our orginal plans were put on hold and we decided to venture out close to home in case we got caught in a thunderstorm. We were lucky the day turned out to be a beauty!

We took a pit stop on our way to our location and Peter took the boys out on a boat ride around this lake at the park.

Notice the Swann Boat was just "slightly" listing to Peter's side...

The boys at the bridge that goes over the lake...

Then we were off to the zoo!

The maps maybe not the best idea since they were checking and showing us "where we were" every 2 seconds and walking into everybody at the Zoo! So mommy's brilliant idea went into our pockets!

OK... so I thought this John Deere tractor was an exibit... it wasn't until after the kids were pushing the buttons, turning the wheel that I saw the "huge" white sign that said "please fill up with gas every Tuesday" oh crap... get off kids and run!

Best Buds...

All Gavin wanted to see were the Camels and was very upset when he found out that he couldn't ride them... Aunt Kerri I see a Zoo visit in your future (there's a zoo about an hour from us where you can RIDE the camels... and an elephant). lol

Oh how I miss the carriage...

2 tired pups... they walked alot!

They perked up when they heard it was time to go get some Ice cream... well that was 'til they ate it all.

For dinner we decided to go to the local "Clam Shack"

and Peter was thrilled!

The boys were a little slappy happy and were dancing around to Buffett pretty much the whole time... to all the patron's amusement. We shuold have brought a "tip bucket".

The food is "SO" good here...

And so is the view... how can you beat this view while eating some great seafood!

Hope your all enjoying your Memorial day weekend no matter what you are doing!
