See Broghie is not the only one afraid of this bad boy! Connor watches me plug the vacuum in, his eyes get a little wider, and then he asks... "what are you doing?" I tell him "going to vacuum"... the eyes then got as big as baseballs and he begs me to wait as he rushes around to pick up all his toys! You see, I do like a clean floor (who doesn't) but the problem is I have no patience... so I'm really only paying attention half the time. The other half I'm usually "sucking up" things that aren't supposed to get "sucked up"... socks, toys, you name it. If its on the floor and I'm vacuming... good chance it will end up in the belly of this beast (the beast in this case... my vacuum). In my defenense... this really is a very powerful vaccuum.
I have become very fond of this appliance. You see, I can beg, plead, barter, yell, whatever for the boys to clean up the toys but nothing usually happens. But bring this baby out... and just watch them move! It's actually quite entertaining! Peter and I sometimes take turns... so the other can enjoy "the show"!
That's so funny! I should have tried that with your's and Kerri's rooms, but I probably would have had to purchase a monster vacuum for it to pick up all the clothes!! Love u both, Mom
ReplyDeleteI have one of those!! Except I call mine... the "scare the crap out of Titian" machine. :) Typically I will put him in another room when using this manchine and he will bark and sniff under the door trying to scare it away...however when he has been exceptionally naughty I will pretend like I don't notice he is still there and let him go psycho and try to attack and eat it :) hehe so much fun for the mommy...payback
